1. INTERPRETING FROM AND INTO RUSSIAN / ENGLISH:

   Interpreting is neded when somebody speaks one language and somebody else needs to listen and understand in another language.

   Interpreting = oral translation includes:

   Consecutive translation: negotiations (on-line, over-the-phone, conference-call, talks...), public speeches, meetings, exhibitions
   Simultaneous translation: public speeches
   

2. TRANSLATION (ENGLISH, RUSSIAN, GERMAN, BELARUSIAN)

   Translation is usually done when working on texts and documents in a written form. Example: a translator takes a text (document, online page, a written note, etc.) and writes or types the equivalent text in another language (for other people to read & consider when needed).
